Teacher Instructions
Overview
There are two ways you can use this simulation.
A. You can do it as a class by naming a couple students as generals and showing it on a projector.
B. In a 1 to 1 laptop or computer lab situation:
1. Divide students into groups of two.
2. Provide The Western Front Map and Battle Calculator for every group
Objectives
1. Allow students to feel the frustration and futility of offensives on the Western Front.
2. Show students why the Western Front became a “stalemate”.
